I'm Jennifer Rock Beers - author, gardener, learner, and proud Gen Xer with a passion for kitchen experiments and great food. But not the artisan, froofy, still-hungry-after-you've-eaten meals - I'm talking real food that's easy when it needs to be.
In my mid-40s, I ended my 22-year marriage, walked away from a successful corporate career, lived on my own for the first time in my life (!) and took some time to figure out who I am and what I want. And cooking was part of that journey.
I make stuff up. I've cooked for one or 31. It's been an extraordinarily fun time, and a hobby that's fed me -- physically, emotionally and mentally.
