Better than the little Swiss packets of cocoa -- and this will make a bucket of mix to last you all winter.
Ingredients
1 box powdered milk - approx. 26 oz. box that makes 8 quarts
1 lb. chocolate Nesquik (Nestle's Quik)
6 oz. jar of powdered coffee creamer
3/4 cup powdered sugar
Optional:
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
Preparation
Mix all of the dry ingredients until very well blended. Store in airtight containers -- like Tupperware, mason jars or a gallon-sized ice cream bucket.
Cooking & Serving
For a cup of hot chocolate, blend 1/3 cup of the mix with hot water. Optional stir-ins: dash (or stick) of cinnamon, a candy cane, marshmallows, peppermint Schnapps, or whipped cream.
A Little Backstory
Nothing is better than a mug of hot chocolate by the fire while it snows outside. No debate on that.
